In order to ride one of our electric bikes, you will need to acquire a learners or an A1 license. With these basic license types, you will be able to ride a bike with an engine displacement no larger than 125cc. Non-citizens can use their regular country of origin license as an acceptable equivalent.
If you haven’t a permit of any type then you will need to go on the K53 learners’ course. This written test may not require formal training but taking classes from certified instructors will go a long way in ensuring you pass with ease. Tuition helps you avoid the pitfalls of being on the open road when doing your test and gives you an edge in knowing what to expect.
We also recommend team outrides with other electric bike owners so that not only do you get in touch with like-minded non-petrolheads but also to ensure that you’re aware of every little detail of your electric bike.
